I was out of the internet loop the last 4 days or so, being out of town to Tallahassee for FSU's homecoming this weekend.

While playing catch-up, I just came across what

[info]amaleka_crone also pointed out, that season four of Battlestar Galactica isn't returning until April!  And that's just for 10 episodes, then we'll probably have to wait until 2009 for the back 10! WTF?!?

SciFi Channel is not winning over any geek/fandom supporters with their antics, after the unceremonius dump of Farscape a few years ago, then the recent cancellation of The Dresden Files (while dren like Flash Gordon and Painkiller Jane got full seasons), and now the dicking around with the absolute crown jewel in the history of the network.  I've heard that even Ronald Moore and David Eick are not pleased with this asinine scheduling - the creators know that this is a little absurd and unfair to the faithful fans.  I'd guess all of this is for the sake of stretching the promotion and ancillary revenue for almighty NBC-Universal - from online media and the DVD sales that are spaced so far apart.  It's just stupid that by the time the fourth season airs, it will have taken the better part of six years - starting with the miniseries in Dec. 2003 - to air 4 seasons of show, none of which consist of the full 22 episodes that network TV usually runs (unless the upcoming Razor telefilm counts as two eps of S4 - then that makes it 22).  It just sucks for the fans, and all the cast and crew know this - it's NBC-Universal that is the problem.

Anyway...  Also wanted to catch up and spread this meme of sorts that I came across from [info]wsasianboy.

And to continue the work-procrastination, I also found this 100 Questions meme from [info]wrthy2bluvdthat seemed entertaining, and at times totally random:

And I've screwed around long enough that it's almost time to go home. Sweet.

Kristen Bell is awesome.
