Been almost two weeks since the last update - just haven't had or made the time to be more diligent here, but I'm trying.

And thus, I need to first give belated Happy Birthday! wishes to

[info]apriljoiex, who celebrated on the 3rd (sorry for the late-ness), and I'll go ahead with two-day early wishes for [info]empressvesica, whose day is the 9th. Here's giving you ladies only good thoughts for a prosperous and fortune-filled year to come.

So, what's worth mentioning?  Ah, yes - movies.

As I said a couple weeks ago, I thought Forgetting Sarah Marshall was just outstanding, and not just because of my (obvious) KBell infatuation. The overall quality of the Jason Segel-penned script, with the inclusion of realistically-developed and portrayed characters, made the whole story that much more memorable.  I'm glad to see that other flist-ers have seen it and also approved. Though I do believe the final box-office will show its merit as a financial success (it's already cleared much more than its budget), it doesn't look to be matching the domestic totals of other Judd Apatow productions - The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, or Superbad. Which, really, is unfortunate, because I think FSM is probably the best well-rounded film of the bunch, in terms of balancing comedy and heart with great dialogue. Perhaps Jason Segel's full-frontal scenes scared dudes away from repeated viewings? Oh well - I'll probably see it again this weekend.

And easily the biggest movie of the year so far is Iron Man, and I also saw that on opening day. I'll add to what other flist-ers have said, and agree that it is definitely worth the price of admission. Director Jon Favreau has hit a home-run with his biggest project to date, and Marvel's first foray into financing their own movie (rather than selling the rights to an outside studio) has paid off.  Iron Man manages to combine an enjoyable script (a little sarcasm and satire cleverly mixed in with the humor, not taking itself too seriously) with an A+ cast and superb visual effects (courtesy of Lucasfilm's Industrial Light & Magic).  I'm not an Iron Man comic die-hard by any means, but I am a little familiar with Tony Stark's background, the type of person he's supposed to be, and with the characters that surround him. And from what I took away from the moves, the entire cast is just about perfect for their roles. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges, and Terrence Howard are pitch-perfect in their respective supporting takes on the well-written script. And of course, Robert Downey, Jr. just nails Tony Stark. The attitude and physicality are dead-on for what was really necessary for the character, and he just seems to really be having a ball as a big-budget action-star.

I'll have to see it again to be completely fair, but I'd say Iron Man ranks right up there in my top-5 of modern-era "comic book" movies.  It's easily better than any of the Spider-Man films, and the Fantastic Four jokes. I think I'd even put it past the first X-Men, and possibly on par with X2. It's still below Superman Returns and Batman Begins on my personal list, but those two are Warner/DC masterpieces that I really almost look at as heavy dramas about comic characters, rather than just comic-based action flicks, which is pretty much where all the others lie.  But as an eye-candy-filled, entertaining-as-hell introduction/origin story that isn't leveled-down for the kiddies (Spider-Man and FF, I'm looking at you), Iron Man is top notch. Go see it. Oh, and stay 'till the end of the credits - especially if you're a Marvel-'verse comic reader. There's a bit of a nice tease.

I've already got my ticket to see Speed Racer this Friday in IMAX. And it's not that I was highly-anticipating this flick as a "must see right away" type of thing, but just watching the teaser ads the last couple of weeks in HD on my 60" TV made my jaw drop a bit, so I'm anxious to see the next evolutions in visual effects the Wachowski brothers can come up with. Oddly enough, I recently re-watched all the bonus material from The Complete Matrix Collection - all the behind the scenes documentaries and featurettes about the stunt work and filmmaking technologies developed for the first film, Reloaded, and Revolutions, as well as the shorts from The Animatrix. All of that reminded me that Larry and Andy Wachowski have some seriously ballsy imaginations, so my interest in Speed Racer - where the sets and locations are almost entirely virtual - is definitely piqued.  Also, my boy Matthew Fox plays Racer X. So that's another plus.

Speaking of Foxy, last week's episode of Lost: 4.10 - "Something Nice Back Home" - became one of my all-time personal classics, and probably my second favorite of the season (behind 4.05 - "The Constant").

I see that a couple of other flist-ers have recently started the show, which is awesome. Again I advise anyone that doesn't watch, but is curious about doing so - either borrow or rent the DVDs, or download all the eps from the beginning.  You won't be sorry, and will easily become a more intelligent and quality-discriminating television viewer just by watching.

Battlestar Galactica has also been excellent, but IMO is almost in a plot-limbo right now, as the characters are scattered around  - or away from - the fleet. The acting is still top-shelf as always, but I think we're in the midst of a build-up toward the race for Earth. Seeing the varying reactions by Tori, Col. Tigh, Tyrol and Anders to their respective newly-found identities as Cylons is interesting as hell, though. Lee's beginning to see that having and enforcing the morally-righteous high-ground isn't necessarily what may be best for the populace, politcally, as Baltar's prophet/messiah status builds.  And Kara's facing mutiny along her desperation to "feel" her way to Earth. Classic.

Smallville's still a jumbled mess (and it's gonna drag on for an eighth season - fuck me), but I will say that last week's Tom Welling-directed episode was his best work of the three episodes where he's been behind the camera. Story was hole-filled and preposterous at points (as usual), but his blocking and camera placement was much improved.

Supernatural is still the only critical-acclaim-worthy show on The CW, and is still fun as hell. The faux-reality satire of "Ghostfacers" had me LMAO for an hour - among the appropriately creepy traditional haunted-house standbys. Tweaking the suspense/horror genre is something this show does consistently well - IMO, on par with Buffy the Vampire Slayer in that regard. I'm really looking forward to seeing how in the hell Dean's soul-to-Hell pact will be dealt with, now that we've got a fourth season to look forward to.

I guess that's about all I've got.  Plus, I'm tired of typing - doing all this tonight since there was no new TV to watch. Tomorrow's another full Thursday night lineup, including the last episode (of a stike-shortened season) of Scrubs to air on NBC. It's almost a sure thing that ABC will pick it up for an eighth and final season, since it's an ABC Studio show. So hopefully we'll get at least 13-17 more episodes to see it sent off properly - one of the funniest shows to ever air, IMO.

Off to bed in a bit, probably. Peace out.

I was actually offline - as in not on the interwebs at all - for over a week. A WEEK. Not even email. I think that may be the longest drought for me ever - or at least, since college, when the Internet actually found its legs and began its addictive ways.

I've spent some of today and yesterday - the first time I got online since a week ago Saturday - trying to sift through the gobs and gobs of mail in various accounts, sorting out what's worthy of reading and deleting spammish crap. It's a chore, I tell ya. And I'm not close to done yet.

There was no real reason for my online hiatus, save for the fact I got totally immersed in re-watching Lost over my last three days off of work for the holidays before I had to go back. From last Sunday through this past Saturday, I marathoned all three seasons' worth of episodes, plus the special features - and that's including working two of those days. Essentially I watched 72 hours of episodes and maybe 10 hours of bonus material in about 4 days. Lost-age was oozing from my pores. I guess I'm just a tad excited for the season four premiere on Jan. 31st. Can you tell?

I really don't have time for much else, but I just wanted to pop in and give a "hey, I'm still here", since I've been a shitty f-lister - I will be trying to play catch up by this weekend. Now I need to go watch the second hour of The Sarah Connor Chronicles - the first episode of which aired last night, and was pretty bad-ass all around. Summer Glau is made of win in her role as Cameron.

I'll leave with one thing I did glean from the flist, ganked from [info]gypsy_sally. And I swear I didn't cheat:

Except for Lee's family baggage, I can see it.

Q&A with Heroes hotties; a meme; WGA strike stuff
Was out of town to Tallahassee again this weekend, so I've got a few pages to scroll back through on the flist, as well as catching up with everything else online in my various fandoms.

And I just haven't had any goof-off time at work at all any more, so my posting and commenting is showing serious neglect.  I'm actually sacrificing time here at work (okay, procrastinating) just to do this, but the job is driving me batshit, so I just needed a break.

Other flisters have already posted or linked this, but I also wanted a reference her for my own, after I read the O&A with Kristen Bell and Hayden Panettiere at TV Guide online this morning. It pertains to tonight's Heroes episode - 2.09 - "Cautionary Tales" - but also diverges into some cuteness too funny to pass up.  I never was ga-ga over the then-jailbait Hayden that so many fanboys seemed to be during season one. She just seemed to be a decent person, and was sweet enough when I met her - and I find her much cooler just by association with Kristen.  KBell's influence can only be a good thing. Link to the page is HERE, and a c/p of the text under the cut:

Also found another personal-info-related meme of minor interest, snagged from [info]amaleka_crone, who got it from [info]candlewaxdreams:

In addition, I guess it should be taken as good news that the studios and network honchos have agreed to come back to the negotiating table this weekend after the Thanksgiving holiday. It doesn't guarantee a damn thing, of course, as far as ending the WGA strike is concerned - nothing may actually be achieved yet - but at least it's a step in the right direction.

And mainly because I wanted a singular grouping of links to Joss-talk (the man can be hilarious in his ranting and snarking), I wanted to highlight that Joss Whedon has been pretty active with his own commentary and blogging over at Whedonesque the last couple of weeks, with his own updates HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE, with commentary in a few others (may need to be registered to view - not sure). He's also linked the the United Hollywood page several times, and informed fans that the "Pencils 2 Media Moguls" campaign could be massive.  All the information on this is at the UH support page, HERE.  I went and donated a few boxes of #2s, just because this is something that really matters for the future of network television entertainment, and anything that can impress upon the studios and network executives that the fans actually do give a shit about the content being produced, I'm all for it.

Lastly, I'll also include what has also been mentioned elsewhere that Ronald D. Moore has posted a blurb about Battlestar Galactica production being wrapped indefinitely, found HERE. Episode 13 of season four just completed filming, and that's all they've got scripts for.  Until the WGA gets a new deal, the planned-ending for the series in those final 7 episodes remains unshot.  NBC-Universal, which produces the show and owns Sci-Fi Channel, has already sent out suspension/termination letters to cast members now that production is in limbo - a scan of which is HERE.  Also, a c/p of the text from Moore's blog under the cut (formatting got a little wonky again - apologies):

God, talk about angst.  I want the writers to get their fair deal as much as anyone, but the mass devastation being wrought upon the TV landscape is slowly starting to mount and show in the production stoppages.  Fucking networks.  Greedy sonsabitches.

29 October 2007 @ 04:10 pm

I was out of the internet loop the last 4 days or so, being out of town to Tallahassee for FSU's homecoming this weekend.

While playing catch-up, I just came across what

[info]amaleka_crone also pointed out, that season four of Battlestar Galactica isn't returning until April!  And that's just for 10 episodes, then we'll probably have to wait until 2009 for the back 10! WTF?!?

SciFi Channel is not winning over any geek/fandom supporters with their antics, after the unceremonius dump of Farscape a few years ago, then the recent cancellation of The Dresden Files (while dren like Flash Gordon and Painkiller Jane got full seasons), and now the dicking around with the absolute crown jewel in the history of the network.  I've heard that even Ronald Moore and David Eick are not pleased with this asinine scheduling - the creators know that this is a little absurd and unfair to the faithful fans.  I'd guess all of this is for the sake of stretching the promotion and ancillary revenue for almighty NBC-Universal - from online media and the DVD sales that are spaced so far apart.  It's just stupid that by the time the fourth season airs, it will have taken the better part of six years - starting with the miniseries in Dec. 2003 - to air 4 seasons of show, none of which consist of the full 22 episodes that network TV usually runs (unless the upcoming Razor telefilm counts as two eps of S4 - then that makes it 22).  It just sucks for the fans, and all the cast and crew know this - it's NBC-Universal that is the problem.

Anyway...  Also wanted to catch up and spread this meme of sorts that I came across from [info]wsasianboy.

Comment on this post. I will choose seven interests from your profile and you will explain what they mean and why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along.

And to continue the work-procrastination, I also found this 100 Questions meme from [info]wrthy2bluvdthat seemed entertaining, and at times totally random:

And I've screwed around long enough that it's almost time to go home. Sweet.

So, according to rumors circulating from NBC-Universal, reported at Digital Bits, season three of Battlestar Galactica may not be available on DVD until April 2008!  WTF!?!  I have no frakking clue why the delay would be this long, other than to milk/prolong the interest during the season four break. Here's what the blurb says:

Also, just going to spread a meme I ganked from

[info]winter_dreams86, who snagged it from[info]trystan830.

Work still blows.

Oh, and since the Interweb has been spreading Kristen's official single-status, I am officially announcing here that I'm available for her.  You know, just as a cover-my-bases kinda thing.

Holy Crap.  It's been a month since my last entry.

I won't get all "woe-is-me, work sucks, been too busy" as an excuse - but will just say that real life has been sucking all of my available free moments as of late, and any down-time at work has been non-existent.  I've had little LJ time to even read and catch up with stuff on my flist, let alone update my own - thus the slacking. And it pisses me off, because fandom crap makes me happy.

Anyway, I have been trying to keep up with my self-imposed TV commenting, but needed to play catch-up with that, too, for the last few weeks. I'm almost all they way there, though - only behind on thoughts for last week's Bones and Lost, and the frak-tastic season finale of Battlestar Galactica. So... I wanted to go ahead and list a bunch of links on shows that have aired since my last entry.  As usual, all the fake cuts lead to comments posted at Wicked-Insanity, and I'll try to keep these as chronological-by-airing as possible.

Veronica Mars: 3.15 - "Papa's Cabin"

Lost: 3.10 - "Tricia Tanaka is Dead"

Battlestar Galactica: 3.17 - "Maelstrom"

Heroes: 1.18 - "Parasite"

Lost: 3.11 - "Enter 77"

Battlestar Galactica: 3.18 - "The Son Also Rises"

Bones: 2.15 - "Bodies in the Book"

Lost: 3.12 - "Par Avion"

Smallville: 6.16 - "Promise"

Supernatural: 2.16 - "Roadkill"

Battlestar Galactica: 3.19 - "Crossroads" (pt.1)

Bones: 2.16 - "The Boneless Bride in the River"

Lost: 3.13 - "The Man from Tallahassee"

Smallville: 6.17 - "Combat"

Supernatural: 2.17 - "Heart"

I won't even get into the whole Veronica Mars 'will-they or won't-they' fiasco. The CW is running a piss-poor business model of a network, both financially - and especially creatively, if the show gets cut off similar to the shit pulled on Everwood last season.  Thoughts of the show not being around anymore at all make my heart hurt, when mind-numbing garbage like the Pussycat Dolls gets higher ratings, so I won't elaborate on anything more until "official" word of its future is announced in May.

I feel like there's a whole lot more random crap I should just put here since it's been so long, but I'm tired and it's Sunday night, which means more work tomorrow.  And I need to go watch my DVR-ed Dresden Files

I know I'm severly slacking on my episodic dilligence, as I've yet to get completely caught up with comments through this week's stuff at W-I.  However I plan to "leave no show behind", and will link a few things to recent posts here right now:

Lost: 3.09 - "Stranger in a Strange Land"

Battlestar Galactica: 3.16 - "Dirty Hands"

Heroes: 1.17 - "Company Man"

I have yet to speak on this week's Veronica and Lost, and still want to get in a (brief) write-up of my weekend at MegaCon 2007.  I will get to that as soon as I can, I promise.

Now I need to get some food.

So, I typically don't like going more than a week without adding at least something here, now that I've gotten into the swing of fairly regular updates - but work and real life stuff has just sucked any and all free time as of late.  Mainly, I needed to get some links to comments for a week's worth of TV.  Fake cuts to all posted at W-I. And I'll keep these in more or less chronological order:

Bones: 2.14 - "The Man in the Mansion"

Lost: 3.08 - "Flashes Before Your Eyes"

Smallville: 6.15 - "Freak"

Supernatural: 2.15 - "Tall Tales"

Battlestar Galactica: 3.15 - "A Day in the Life"

Heroes: 1.16 - "Unexpected"

And one of the longest commentaries/brain spews I've posted in a long while.  The seasonal/series implications left me a little dark and rumbly inside...

Veronica Mars: 3.14 - "Mars, Bars"

Friday Night Lights still continues to amaze me, but its future is still questionable, too.  If that and Veronica don't get renewed - two of my top six shows - I may have to hit something or somebody very hard, repeatedly.  Seriously - I won't be a happy camper for quite a while, and that's an understatement.

In the realm of guilty-pleasures ending, the series finale of The O.C. was last night, and it was actually not too shabby.  A little rushed for all the stuff that was up in the air leading into the hour, but not a bad resolution in the last 20 minutes.  The Cohens moved back up to Berkeley, Ryan finished college and made a go of it with Taylor, Julie and Kaitin are independent women, and Seth and Summer found their way back to each other after parting to grow individually, and walked down the isle. For a show that was often cheese, sometimes poignant (surprisingly), but at other times hilarious, it had a decent run.

For as much of a prime-time soap that it does tend to be, Grey's Anatomy the last two weeks has been pretty damn good.  And I belatedly realized that Marti Noxon wrote last night's episode, which was unexpected.  I actually really enjoyed the ep. - something that escaped me once in a while when she was exec. producing the latter episodes of BtVS. But I won't go any further into that.

Last week's The Office was directed by Joss Whedon, while last night's was helmed by J.J. Abrams.  Both episodes were hilarious and not very much changed from their usual style of shot selection and editing - which is how it should be, I think, even with superstar directors. The essence of what makes the show unique should remain, and it did.  And Jim is still my hero a little bit. Scrubs was side-splitting last week and the week before, and I've yet to watch last night's.  I'll do that tonight, for sure.

I still have to put some words together from this past Wednesday's Lost, and also want to give a brief recap of my experience last weekend at MegaCon here in Orlando.  I'll try to do so before the weekend is over.

Thank God it's Fucking Friday.

Just a brief entry for some comments:

Smallville: 6.14 - "Trespass"

Supernatural: 2.14 - "Born Under A Bad Sign"

Battlestar Galactica: 3.14 - "The Woman King"

Heroes: 1.15 - "Run!"

Tonight has new Veronica, with new Friday Night Lights, Bones, and Lost tomorrow.

And I'm frakkin' exhausted - SO ready to leave work in a few.  My couch is calling my name.  That is all.

I've spent most of today scrambling to put at least a few sentences together for the new TV over the last week that's worth commenting on.  All of which was done while trying to accomplish at least a modicum of work here... at work. And while my thoughts still drift back to the weekend... ::sigh::

Anyway... I managed to add a few blurbs at W-I, so new linkage under the cuts:

Smallville: 6.12 - "Labyrinth"

Supernatural: 2.12 - "Nightshifter"

Battlestar Galactica: 3.13 - "Taking A Break from All Your Worries"

Heroes: 1.13 - "The Fix"

and my treasured, my adored,

Veronica Mars: 3.11 - "Poughkeepsie, Tramps and Thieves"

Tonight brings new Friday Night Lights and Bones - two of my favorites, so that's mucho goodness right there.

And just for shits and giggles, I've decided for an indefinite period to end each update with the statement, "Kristen Bell is awesome."  Just because I wanna.  And she SO is.

I really have no business wasting precious time this morning to post here, but I gotta - at least briefly.  First - some fake cuts to links at W-I for short comments on new shows from the last week:

Smallville: 6.11 - "Justice"

Supernatural: 2.11 - "Playthings"

And the much-anticipated return from break of:

Battlestar Galactica: 3.12 - "Rapture"

Tonight my DVR will be in overdrive again, with new episodes of Prison Break, How I Met Your Mother, Heroes, 24, Studio 60 and What About Brian.  All of which I still keep up with (even if I don't talk about some anymore).

And tomorrow, Veronica Mars returns - FINALLY.  Ratings will probably be lower than what we want, due to the President's State of the Union address, but a new episode is a new episode, and least The CW isn't a major network - so no pre-emption.  I'm stoked.

Work is the hell I must return to now. Hasta.

Very short entry to just keep things up to date. Fake cuts to blurbs at W-I for the last bit of new TV before 2007.

Bones 2.11 - "Judas on a Pole"

Battlestar Galactica 3.11 - "The Eye of Jupiter"

And just because I feel like it:

Work now.

Jeff
11 December 2006 @ 11:40 am
Since the fall schedule has (mercifully) been getting closer to the winter hiatus/repeats schedule, I only have a few things to add for this update.  Links to W-I from the fake cuts, in chronological airing order:

Battlestar Galactica: 3.09 - "Unfinished Business"

Heroes: 1.11 - "Fallout"

Smallville: 6.09 - "Subterranean"

Supernatural: 2.09 - "Croatoan"

Battlestar Galactica: 3.10 - "The Passage"

The Office and Scrubs have also been side-splitting, as is customary, Friday Night Lights is still THE best new show this fall season, and The O.C. has managed to really be quite fun to enjoy, now that the Marissa black-hole of development is gone - I just can't get into detail on everything.

Tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday bring the three-parts of the latest Sci-Fi Channel miniseries The Lost Room.  Looks kinda X-Files/Twin Peaks-ish, so I'm curious.  It's sci-fi, and Peter Krause is the lead, so I'll check it out.

Speaking of Peter Krause,

Back to work.

Jeff
22 November 2006 @ 11:25 am
In an effort to reduce the volume of episodes I comment on from one update to the next, I have a chance to add an entry sooner rather than later.  Links to a few things since last Thursday are below:

Smallville: 6.08 - "Static"

Supernatural: 2.08 - "Crossroad Blues"

The Office: 3.08 - "The Merger"

Battlestar Galactica: 3.08 - "Hero"

Heroes: 1.09 - "Homecoming"

And Rob Thomas's crew of writers on Veronica Mars certainly have a knack for emotionally kicking my ass.  Last night's episode was quality as usual, with a viscerally raw edge to the troubles with LoVe that leaves me anxious for more, but nervously worried for the characters' paths - to the point I continually contemplate the plot-arc fallout from week to week. If that kind of character-attachment isn't a sign of outstanding TV, I don't know what is. The cut below is actually a real one, not just a link to W-I, since I wanted to c/p my commenting on the ep here, for posterity's sake:

And since I am almost certain to not be online much - if at all - tomorrow, early "Happy Turkey Day".

Jeff
17 November 2006 @ 02:43 pm
So... yeah.  I know I'm struggling to maintain my personal goal to try and just add entries on at least a weekly basis, to cover all the new installments of the shows in the unhealthy amount of television I keep up with.  Work has just been kicking my ass recently - the office has been busy as shit, with some of the most asinine dipshits coming across my path. And between watching said TV shows, and being too tired/apathetic to get online at home at night or much on the weekends, I'm just behind.  Hell - I'm doing this update from work in a few moments of slacking.

Anyway, I'll add fake cuts/links to the bit of commenting I have kept up with at Wicked Insanity.  I've dropped off a few shows, with regards to religiously adding something every week - including Prison Break, Studio 60, Friday Night Lights, and Grey's Anatomy.  I still watch them all, but just cannot manage to brain spew on every single one all the time, even if I really want to (esp. Friday Night Lights, The O.C.).  That said, here are the essential additions since my last new TV entry, in their weekly chronological airing order:

Heroes: 1.07 - "Nothing to Hide"

Prison Break: 2.10 - "Rendezvous"

Justice: 1.08 - "Shark Week"

Veronica Mars: 3.06 - "Hi, Infidelity"

Bones: 2.08 - "The Woman in the Sand"

Lost: 2.06 - "I Do"

The Nine: 1.06 - "Take Me Instead"

Smallville: 6.07 - "Rage"

The Office: 3.07 - "Branch Closing"

Supernatural: 2.07 - "The Usual Suspects"

Battlestar Galactica: 3.07 - "A Measure of Salvation"

Heroes: 1.08 - "Seven Minutes to Midnight"

Veronica Mars: 3.07 - "Of Vice and Men"

Bones: 2.09 -  "Aliens in a Spaceship"

Smallville: 6.08 - "Static"

God help me, I'm still trying to keep up.  And I have yet to finish Grey's Anatomy from last night, or even start The Office and Supernatural.  I'll post on them next time.  I think Justice is axed for good, as FOX pulled it from the schedule this week and next - and may only offer the rest of the 13 or so episodes filmed online.  That's a bummer, since I really was enjoying it.

Lost
is gone until February, so that's a break from some heavy pondering each week, but I managed to catch the 2-hour premiere of Day Break, running in Lost's time slot for 13 weeks.  I have to say, in spite of some not-so-favorible criticisms by reviewers, I quite liked it. It's got the thriller aspects down, as sort of a Groundhog Day-meets-24. Taye Diggs seems like a watchable lead character as Det. Brett Hopper, and the nature of the setup leaves me with thoughts of  "what the hell is going on here?", so I need to have some questions answered.  Nothing else is on in that slot (where I'd be watching Lost anyway), so I'll stick with it for now.

Tonight is more eye-candy with The Ghost Whisperer, and the upper-echelon  of TV excellence with Battlestar Galactica - and Dixon from ALIAS is guest-starring!  Can't-miss TV.

And... I'm out.
