I pity anyone who doesn't know the original source reference for this entry title ("party on...").  If so, you missed out on some seminal pop-culture.

Anyway, I don't have the bigger/HQ images loaded to my bucket yet, but I had to just throw these few out there, in order to:
A) justify/explain my near drooling and shortness of breath as I saw the Emmy photos yesterday morning, and
B) make the Web a sexier place by disseminating the hotness, which also makes me happy.

These are small-ish, so actual pics are posted on the page under the three cuts. Click on each image to get it a bit larger.

I somehow need to try to focus on actual work now. *sigh* That'll be a challenge.

Kristen Bell is awesome.

So, yeah, I'm trying to procrastinate at work, and I thought I'd post on something current. Plus, I wanted to bitch and moan just a bit.

It's become pretty clear over the last several TV seasons that the Primetime Emmy Awards are a joke when it comes to actually recognizing the "best" that television has to offer.  Seldom do the really deserving shows and/or actors win, and more often than not the last few years, even the snubs in nominations are egregious.  I mean, to totally screw up the top 5 or 6 in a category is just asinine and indicative of how out-of-touch the voters truly are.

Last year I did make somewhat of a fuss over the show at W-I, but refrained from doing so this year, mainly because of the uselessness of it all... and I was lazy.

Honestly, the only thing that grabbed me at all this year was the red-carpet and audience appearances of Kristen Bell with the various Heroes entourages - both at the Creative Emmys last week, and the show from last night.  I mean the woman is into absurdly-ridiculously hot territory, with ever-increasing national exposure. It's like she's personally trying to torture/kill me with how much better and better she continues to look - and she was a knockout to begin with.  As soon as I get some pics of her from the ceremonies loaded into the bucket, I'm going to post some here.  Just because.  *daydreams*...

Anyway - I'll list the major categories from last night's show here, along with some brief thoughts on the nominees and winners. Under the cut, of course. Beware of personal taste and some mildly angered swearing.

Also - from various sources, I've read that the show overall was a bore and ham-handed in its execution.  Makes me glad I totally forgot to tune in.  I'd like to see "Seacrest. Out." Permanently - from all media.

Lunch now.
