Sci-Fi Friday tonight
Paragraph of praise:

Battlestar Galactica is one of the best shows on TV. Period. It's a serious drama in the guise of a sci-fi action series. This season has taken a fascinating turn, delving into the psyche/consciousness of the Cylon race. The philosophical/theological aspects of groupthink unity vs. individuality make some very interesting comparisons/contrasts to what has long been debated about the human "soul".   We get to explore the nature of machines with a monotheistic belief in a single deity, at war with a society of human polytheistic pagans.  Subtext abounds, and anyone who dismisses it due to the title or overall setting theme, will never be able to understand the depths of what we get out of these characters.

Just had to make it known.

Oh, and Claudia Black returns as Vala to Stargate: SG-1 tonight, so yay. Any chance to see her and Ben Browder on screen together gives me the warm and fuzzies.
